Quota selection/ generation rules config in V_T559L - Quotas are accrued on a date based on accrual rules and transferred to entitlement based on the transfer rules
Do following in Validity/deduction interval (view V_T559D) :
Validity interval: Valid from and Valid to: select both as "Transfer time". This will
result in IT 2006 validity period start/end equal to the transfer date (begda &
endda same).
Even though the validity is for one day, the entl is still available for deduction
based on the deduction interval (P2006-begde and endde). This is how the P2001 is
processed.
Deduction interval: To allow the quota entitlement to be used by an employee,
a)upto the end of generation/transfer to entl year:
Deduction from: select "Start of validity interval
Deduction to: select "End of validity interval"; Relative position = 12m
This will result in IT 2006 deduction period start (P2006-begde) = IT 2006 - start
date, and deduction period end date (P2006-endde) = IT 2006-end date 12m.
b)till forever :
Deduction from: select "Start of validity interval
Deduction to: select "End of validity interval"; Relative position = 999m
This will result in endde = 31.12.9999. Thus the quota can be used from the
vaildity date till 31.12.9999.
I have seen some posts about rolling over at the end of year. The roll over is not
at all required, with this config. This is what we have been doing for a long time.
