Luxman,

Profit centers are derived from cost centers and segments are derived from profit centers.If PCA has been activated in SAP then I believe the profit center field becomes mandatory in the cost center master data set-up so assign the appropriate profit centers to all the cost centers and assign the appropriate segments to all the profit centers and you should be all set.For all items which are assigned to a cost center, a profit center and segment should be assigned automatically based on the master data set-up.

Reg. assigning the profit centers to the bank transactions, it should happen automatically as a part of passive splitting if the document splitting by profit center is active.But make sure you test this!
