Hi,

We currently have a manufactuing plant, defined as a plant in SAP. We have 4 production lines in this plant (defined as SLOCs), and need to run MRP for each of them seperately. How can we do this, without defining a seperate plant for each line?

Our main issue is that we use some materials across every line and need to generate purchasing requisitions for those materials specific to each line.

We want to use MRP Areas to do this, but our trials so far seem to show that we cannot set more than 1 MRP Area for each raw material in each plant.

We tried setting MRP Areas at the Finished Goods level, but when we pushed these through the BOms we lost the MRP Area detail at the Raw Material Level (Still aggregated at the plant level).

Can we use mulitple MRP Areas per material per plant? if so, how?

How can we view the requirements by MRP Area in SAP using MD04 or MD07 or some other transactions.
