Thanks for your reply.
In my case, absence quota are generated manually (not through time evaluation) per calendar year. Absence quota are generated in advance to employees per calendar year (for old employees) or during hiring personnel actions (for new employees).
For example, an employee's annual leave quota is 10 days for the period Jan. 01, 2009 - Dec. 31, 2009. This record can be successfully generated in IT2006.
Later, the employee resigns. If the termination date of this employee is on Jun. 30, 2009, his / her absence quota should be calculated again and update the annual values in IT2006 from 10 to 5 days.
I was told that this automatic re-calculation can be done by pressing the button "Default Values" after changing the end date to Jun 30. 2009 in IT2006.
My problem is that absence quota records will be cleared after pressing the button if I change the end date other than Dec 31. In other words, there are no absence quota records after pressing the button.
Please let me know if you need any additional information.
