Hello all,
Well, that the procedures to set up SLD are not described I would not say... :-)

- Follow the link to SDN.
- Check 'Setting Up System Landscape Directory' and 'Using the System Landscape Directory'. The guides describe the steps required.
Please also check SAP Note 1148028 which explicitly provides information on SLD in the context of SAP Solution Manager. I want to reemphasize what David said earlier in this thread.
Might be useful: Please see SAP Note 1172161 for gateway strategies, please refer to SAP Note 1143398 if you want to check the content of data sent from the data suppliers (AS Java, AS ABAP, TREX) to the System Landscape Directory (SLD) for troubleshooting.
