Upgrade usually runs very long time. could runs for hrs depending on your system resources. it looks like you're running on a small resource box, thus it will take sometime to crank through the upgrade. as long as you see changes and updates via sm50 or sm66....it is runnning ok and normal. but if you don't see nothing running or being update, then there is a much bigger issue.
in which case, we need to see logs lots of them from every angles.
