How hard have you looked? Have you searched for BAPI*MATERIAL*GET* and checked out the results?

Yes. This is how I was able to track the data down to the MARM table. My difficulty is to access this data from inside a program (vb.net) which needs to provide a list of valid Units of Measure. To date, I have achieved this type of function with a call to a BAPI but I cannot find one to suit.
