Hi Mike
The sapstartsrv.exe is part of the SAP kernel and should be located in:
E:\usr\sap\B09\SYS\exe\<uc or nuc>\<platform>
However, the files located in the directoy mentioned above are copied to the path you mention in your last message during system startup, so it's normal that the sapstartsrv.exe exist in more than one location.
More details about MMC and sapstartsrv.exe:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp2/helpdata/en/49/09b93271da740ee10000000a421937/content.htm
NB! The URL is probably wrapped on 2 lines, so join them in your browser and also delete any spaces.
The service can get corrupted from different reasons. HW failure, power failure, missing libraries and more.
Regards,
LEH

Hello Lars,
this Program I have in System32 in Windows but also here found:
E:\usr\sap\B09\DVEBMGS00\exe
In the future, how can I use it? just run this application and the SAP<SID>_<sysnr> will be restarted?
Why goes SAP<SID>_<sysnr> corrupted????

Michael
