Hi Ryan,

Thanks for your help.

I want to know the logic of defining values in tcode AFAMD in column of Declining-balance multiplication factor.

SAP have provide 13 Declining-Balance Methods keys in first one 001 there is no value in second column ofDeclining-balance multiplication factor, but in 002, 003, 004 all these have different values 2, 2.5, 3 respectively in second column of Declining-balance
multiplication factor.

I want to understand is there any logic for defining these in second column of Declining-balance
multiplication factor.

As u mentioned in below reply thatDeclining-Balance Methods is a factor of straight line, what i understand from this is this factor is used to multiply with book value, but what is the logic of defining this factor.

Hope u understand my question, if not pls provide ur mail id or send me invite from id on my yahoo id or on gmail id prafful.kansal@gmail.com.

Thanks & Regards,
Prafful Kansal

Declining balance method can be calculated as being a factor of straightline. In this field you put that in.
