Hi Christy,
Currently we store all permanent, temp & contractor in SAP, we differentiate them using different Employee Group and Employee Sub-group. For contractor, we use contract elements (0016) to store the contract informations. Different payscale group for parttime staff.
Cheers.
Stella.

Hi Christy,
Yes, this is better for client to store permanent, temp and contracting
staff data under one umbrella.
Are you also configuring to maintain time sheets on SAP?
In my last assignment we have configured to maintain data for all employees
working on any project.
This way company is having clear picture of cash flow and in/out costing of
each project.
Though my client is running payroll thru ADP. So we configured ESG group and
subgroup and customized SAP to ADP interface.
Good luck,

TMR Management Group, Inc
It can be controlled by including PCRs in Tme and Pay Schemas, and
customizing SAP transactions if needed.
