[sap-log-qm] File modification after be attached to a Quality Notification

Hello.
I attach a Word file, which lives somewhere in the network, to a Quality Notification by using Services for Object. Everything ok so far.
The problem comes when somebody changes this word file and afterwards i try to watch it opening it from the Services for Object. Surprisingly, it opens the initial WORD file attached and not the modified one.
I'm afraid that when you attach a file to a SAP object it keeps a copy locally in your PC or somewhere and that is the one it works with.
So, does anybody know if SAP can be configured so that the attachment points to the file which you originally attach instead of a copied one?
