[sap-log-pp] Procedure to set deletion flag on multiple orders

We are on ECC 6.0 release and have a need to set the deletion flag (status = DLFL) on multiple production orders. Looking at program PPARCHP1 appears to fit the requirement, but I am concerned about the 'archiving' references of this program per other messages. We are not currently configured to do any archiving, would there be negative ramifications to running PPARCHP1 in our environment?
