Hello Rex,
Something else crossed my mind. Please check whether you generally see no data, e.g. in the Performance Reports, etc? If no data is available at all (also in Solution Manager?s BW), the BW side and extraction mechanism might have to be checked.
Moreover, if you refer to Availability Monitoring (the gray status), here is what you might want to check. In order to use availability reporting, you have to configure the underlying ?Availability Monitoring with CCMSPING?. Two IT performance reports actually show the availability of systems and instances and this data is collected by the availability agent CCMSPING. The setup and configuration is described in the SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide, under Cross-Scenario Settings (System Availability with CCMSPING).
By the way, and just as a comment, the Database KPI Monitoring in one of the reports requires another additional set-up of monitoring in the CCMS. For further information, see the SAP Solution Manager implementation guide, under Cross-Scenario Settings - Central CCMS Set-Up - Register Systems for Monitoring - Monitoring Database KPIs.
With best regards
Robin
