Hi Sandeep,

In that case, i believe you should go thru nodes in IMG Payroll->India->Bonus->Maintain Bonus Payment Limits as per POBA/Maintain Salary Limits for Bonus Computations as per POBA
These are basically payroll constant tables T511K and T511P respectively.
In the Payroll Constants (V_T511K),We maintain the lower limit for Bonus payment using the Bonus-Minimum % Constant (BNNPR)( like 8.33% in your case) and the upper limit for the Bonus payment using the Bonus-Maximum % Constant (BNXPR).

While computing employee bonus, as per POBA, the India specific Bonus calculation Report (HINCBON0), also refers to the values of the constants that you maintain in this table Payroll Constants (V_T511K).

In the Payroll Constants (V_T511P), you can maintain the employee eligibility limit for bonus using the Bonus Eligibility Limit Constant (BNELT). The employee is eligible to a bonus only when the basis salary of the employee is less than the amount( 10000 in your case) maintained in this constant.
Specify a Basis amount for bonus computations using the Bonus-Computation Amount Constant (BNCAM) . If the basis salary of the employee is greater than the Bonus-Computation Amount Constant (BNCAM), and less than the value of the Bonus Eligibility Limit Constant (BNELT), then bonus computations will be performed using the value of the Bonus-Computation Amount Constant (BNCAM).
Maintain an upper limit for the total bonus paid in a year, as per the POBA. Use the Bonus-Maximum amount in a year Constant (BNMAX) to specify this upper limit.
Maintain a lower limit for the total bonus paid in a year, as per the POBA. Use the Bonus-Minimum amount in a year Constant (BNMIN) to specify this lower limit.
While computing employee bonus, the India specific Bonus calculation Report (HINCBON0), also refers to the values of the constants that you maintain in this table view Payroll Constants (V_T511P).

On PC00_M40_BONS or HINCBONO(access thru SE38) screen check the box -As per paymnt of bonus Act and maintain the wagetype for amt exceeding POBA amt( which i guess is your exgratia amt)

This more or less completes your configuration.

Hope it helps

Gudluck
Tan
