your problem is not very clear;
if you create a sub-contract PO, system explodes the BOM attached to the PO
and creates reservations and PRs as required.
if you dont use item cat L, system can not understand that this is a
subcontract PO, it treat this PO as normal PO for the line item and there is
no BOM attached to this lie item, check under the material tab of item
details.
