You're right. I must admit my lack of knowledge on a lot of stuff related to abap.
I haven't used create data (as I haven't used lots of other statements available in abap. Furthermore, as we are new to ecc6, stuff like web dynpros, adobe forms, are totally new to us.... ) ... but ...priorities are different on this side of the world (we're on productive season right now, and users and fresh fruits are our main priority).
We have to develop software for our company, easy to be maintained, easy to be debugged, easy to to be read. As the same development team has been in the company for more than 11 years, changes in the way of programming can be hard to do. I've done some stuff with OO. but not a lot (some stuff with java and a few with abap). I must think of my partners. If I go far away from them the team does not work as it is supposed to :).
Thanks and I'm sure I'll post some questions in sap-newbies groups if we move to OOAbap :)
Horacio
PS: thanks for the tips.

Hey Horacio,
If you haven't used CREATE_DATA can I suggest you look at the ABAP Classes as well - CL_ALV_TABLE* for Creating Dynamic Internal Tables and CL_ABAP_STRUCTDESCR and CL_ABAP_TABLEDESCR for creating dynamic structures and tables.
I think you can only use CREATE_DATA if you have already defined the srtructure in the DDIC.
