Hi,
It is of the standard functionality of SAP that the unit of measure for the PR line item is taken from the base unit of measure in the material master. It is only when converting your PR into PO that the order unit (which is defined in the purchasing view of the material master or in purchasing master data record such as info record) will be taken into account by SAP.
