Hi Susin,
In continuation of my last reply, If u r using Old form 24 (Tcode - PC00_M40_F24) to generate the e-file of the tax reporting, u can put the selection parameter accordingly so that all the employees come in the ALV display. Now enter the challan and save. Now generate e-file and details will be updated to temporary seqential file (Temse file).
Now u can see the same through Tcode-PC00_M40_TMSE.
Now at the time of form 16 generation it will directly pick the data from temse file and report it on Form 16 page 3. If u r using the Old form 24 for FY-2008 then u have u to upload data in form 16 through Excel.
or else you u can perform mapping and generate the form 16 as suggested earlier.
Please note the advantage of new challan mapping over the old challan mapping process.
1. Old challan mapping didn't have manual interaction in the mapping. So it ws a system level decision that which challan will go to which employee. It ws based on the FIFO algo. But with new challan mapping u cn map the employees and challan as per ur needs.
2. result stored in the cluster instead of temse files.
3. If u want to modify a particular record in future, it ws nt supported with old mapping but now u can do it with the new challan mapping utiltiy.
4. And also it contains extra details like TAN No. and PAN No. etc.
Tcode for challan mapping utility - PC00_M40_CMAP. Results stores in PCL4 cluster.
And now u cn run Form 24Q program (Tcode - PC00_M40_F24Q) to generate the e-file. It fetch the data from PCL4 cluster.
Same data(PCL4) will be displayed in the form 16 page 3.
