Hi Nitu
If the reduction is proprotionate, you can use reduction rules. Otherwise, you can do as below:
a)V_T555A Time type: Define a time type called as say ZSTR - with only save as day bal ticked.
b)V_T559L - Selection rules - For all the relevant groupings as required by your business requirements -
Accrual entl tab - Multiplication with time balance - Day balance - enter this t/type ZSTR.
c)Define a date type for start of service 0- say ZS
d)Dynamic actions T588Z - If the action type is hiring, then create IT 41 with the date type ZS and date value = P0000-BEGDA. If there is already a IT 41 being created for hiring, modify it.
For the employees who are already hired, you need to take care of it manually.
e)In the time eval schema, call a rule with ACTIO (before the function QUOTA)-
Default t/type ZSTR to 1.
If empl started before 15th of month, set the t/type as zero.
HRS=1 ADDDBZSTRZ "Default for start date as after 14th of mth
HRS=YDAAZS ?Get no. of days from date type ZS value to current day
D HRS?15 ?Is it less than 15?
* ?-no;
< HRS=0 ADDDBZSTRZ "No accrual after 14th
