Config reqmts:
a)New w/t: In PU30, create a new w/t for 1/2 pay leave, by copying the full pay w/t. Change the texts suitably.
I expect the posting would be to the same a/c. So it will copy everything related to that w/t.
b)Abs Counting rule (T556C) - Create a rule by copying the counting rule for full pay leave. Change the quota dedn to 50%.
This will result in deducting 1/2 day from the abs quota, when a person takes this type of leave for one day.
c)Valuation rule - V_T554C - Copy/create rule from full pay leave. Under FORM COUNTING Classes, change the percentage from 100 to 50. This will result in the w/t getting half the no.of hrs. Use the w/t from a) above with 100%.
d)Abs type (T554S) - you can copy the full pay leave with a new abs type. assign the counting rule b) and val rule from c).
For config consultants, document the procedure for future use. Else, someone will be RE-INVENTING THE WHEEL!!! May be yourself even!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then test well before releasing to QA and UAT. Ask the HR/Payroll unit also to test fully and sign off.
Ensure proper communication to every one before move to prod.
Move to prod. Monitor in prod for a couple of pay cycles.
