Hi,
If no logical system has been assigned to the production client, no
functions that require a logical system name have been in use so far. Hence
it will not make a difference if you assign a logical system now. It's safe
to do it.
However, I think it's very strange that no logical system has been assigned
to the production client, though. Don't you use ALE, workflow or any data
exchange functionality with other systems, for instance BW, CRM or PI?

Hi,
All i want to assign logical system to my production client.As from last 6
months or more it is working without assignment of logical systems in scc4.
But as it is production system i am watchful and don't want to take any
risk. Please update if there will be any hazards, What will happen when i
assign logical system.
