Good Day Mary
As far as I know, SAP user counts come from USMM. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/09/59244269625633e10000000a155106/frameset.htm Please ask for more info on USMM in the 'Security' forum, which is where this topic belongs. http://sap.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/sap-security/
Regards,

Subject: [sap-basis] How to identify users represented in EWA report security section
Early watch is up and running for a couple years now. Management now wants to clean up users in the production system.
My problem is matching the number of users I find using SUIM in our production system to the number that is reported in the EWA report.
Is there anywhere where I can learn exactly how SAP arrives at the numbers?
For example if a single user has access to more than one transaction or more than one role are they counted multiple times? Are users with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW counted?
Thanks lots in advance!
