am applying overhead per unit of material consumed. I defined the complete costing sheet for this and specified in the overhead tab of the valuation variant of the costing sheet.
In that tab there are two fields to specify costing sheet.
If I specify in the first field "Overhead applied to semi-finished materials" the overhead is not calculated in standard cost estimate.
If I specify in the second field "Overhead on material components" the overhead is calculated.
However the overhead is added to the cost of the raw material and shown with the cost element for the consumption of the raw material.
I want this to be shown as a separate cost element (type 41) and I have created this cost element, specified in the costing sheet and cost component structure.
I have reviewed the configuration many times and also extensively researched. However I am unable to find what is wrong.
