In Excel, highlight the column containing your leading zeros, click on Edit--Replace, enter "000000000000" in the FIND WHAT field and leave the REPLACE WITH field blank. Next, click on the REPLACE ALL button. This will remove all of the leading zero's in that particular column.

Subject: Removing preceeding zeros in Excel after when it is downloaded from a report using ALV grid

> Hi,<br/>I hope someone could help me with this issue. We have upgraded our ERP system to support Stack to level 15. After the upgrade when we download a report to excel file one of the fields is getting populated with leading zeros. When I ran the report, the report is showing for example 123456, once downloaded to excel it showing 000000000000123456. Is there a way to truncate those leading to what the report is showing after downloading it to Excel.
