Hi Sachin,
The procedure determination is for the system to determine what the partner functions for a partner function are? i.e., who all do I need for a SP - ok, let me say I would like to have SP, SH, BP and PY and many others.....and hence to meet this business requirement I have the parter procedure determination.
Consider the question, What if you do not want a SH (ship to party) to ever be taking up the role of a BP (bill to party)? how do you think that can be controlled. ---the answer is - by not assigning te partner function BP to a SH account group (for example 0002).
So in the above example, the ship to party can have a bill to party partner function assigned to him. This is done via partner determination procedure; But you do not want this ship to party to take the role of a bill to party in some other sold to party customer master. ....
