I believe non-leading ledgers can only use currency types defined for the leading ledger (e.g., 20 and 30). However, I cannot say whether these types can be assigned different currencies than those used by the leading ledger. For example, if 20 in the leading ledger is PLN, I don't know of 20 in the non-leading ledger must be PLN, also or if it can be EUR. Test that option in a sandbox client to see. I have no access to SAP right now.
