When you Crete BOM for equipment or function location. You create PM assembly MMP1. The ConstType means when you create a piece of equipment the related sub items go with that equipment. So you put the PM number in consType.
I would say go back to IE02 and go to structure tab then structure list. You will see all sub item attached with main equipment.

can you explain the term construction type in functional location and in equipment master data. someone told that is for BOM link, but for bom link it is IB01 & IB11 transaction code.
