Hi,
I am not sure though if this will solve your problem.
But you can block the material for procurement/MRP.
If you go to MM02 (change material data) and go into Purchasing or MRP view,
Then select one of the options for type "Plant-sp.matl status".
From this u can block the material for procurement, mrp, warehouse.

Please let me know if it worked:p

Thanks,
Regards,
Ragz

Hi Wilson,
thanks for your suggestion very much.for example:If I needed to place all of the quantity of item ABC (ABC standard for material code)on hold so no orders could be processed ,but because it has some stock now ,and it is warehouse management,I want to hold the material temporarily,if i use stock transfer from "unrestricted" to "blocked" stock, it is hard to do this.Alao ,i try to use t-code:MM06 to delete the material temporarily ,but in SO show warning :"Material ABC is marked for deletion ",but the SO also can be created,it is also can be deliveried, maybe there are some different configuration lead the cause in background configuration ,but now i want to be based on the configuration ,how can i revole the question ,please give me some advise,Hopefully this can be done for the entire item and not by locations.
thanks very much !
Wendy
