Hi,

Well, the export/import option will need less "downtime" in PROD, but will
need more disk space on the SAPTRANSHOST.
Was the local copy performed in to an empty client or an existing client?
That's a big difference in runtime.
Also be sure to have fresh table statistics before starting the copy.

Thank you LEH, I'm aware that isn't the best idea to have all production
data in a QAS system and would be a good idea to have a separate system. But
would you think it's best a remote client copy rather than a client
export/import? Just FYI, a local client copy on the same system lasted 11
hours.
