Hi,

That's really up to the system admins.
I usually have only 1 central SLD where all DEV, QA and PROD systems are
registered.
I follow the KISS philosophy whenever it's possible.

Thanks.The prod SLD (for dev and qa) env was already installed in solman
j2ee instance even before and clients send their tech data to this SLD. Then
when performing the initial configuration of Solman in client 10 , it asked
for a local SLD so we pointed to the same server. We realized after reading
the documents that prod SLD should be separate from the local SLD and based
on this are trying to resolve it to ensure that RCA and monitoring will
work. Should we build another separate productive SLD on another server as a
permanent solution and re-run our initial solman config to separate prod SLD
from locla SLD?
