Hi,

No, in DB20 you can update the table statistics, but to check if the index
is being used correctly, you need to activate SQL trace in ST05.
Your ABAPer could also debug the program steps.

Got one more question Once the index is created.We need to analyze the index
right.For getting the new index to be chosen.For that Is that we do from Tr
DB20 enter the table .Statistics--> create statistics.Is that it Or is there
anything to be done?
