After choosing "Customer/Vendor Code", instead of choosing "Refresh Regularly" in the last set of options on the windows, choose "Display Save Values".
When you choose Refresh Regularly, as earlier, every time you open a document, since the BP Code field is being refilled by the system, it is updating the delivery date again. Instead, if you choose "Display saved value" instead, it will propose delivery date=posting date for all new documents and in case manually overwritten, it keeps the manual entry as a priority over automatic delv date determination.
Remember, that by making it "Display saved values", you are restricting the system to do automatic delv date determination only once during document creation. If there has been a manual overwriting of the delv. date field, manual entry will have priority.
