Hi,
For E-mails to work correctly you need to activate the SAPCONNECT service with Tx SICF. You also need the following parameter set in the instance profile:
icm/server_port_1 PROT=SMTP,PORT=<25*>,TIMEOUT=180
icm/host_name_full HostName.MyCompany.com
Then make sure the time zone settings are correct.
