I don't know I'm afraid. My only experience of this was trying to just find the link at header level.
Can you not run your report on the financial information but just looking at document type WE?

The reason for the report is that the users need to see financial information (for a specific GL account - ppv), based on goods receipt. Therefore the need for the connection.
Running debug on my double-clicking wouldn't help, because SAP simply displays ALL the financial lines from BSEG, without showing which line in BSEGS refers to which line in ISEG.
You are right that AWKEY is what is used to connect between the logistics and the finance, but only on the header level, not the line level.
I also tried ac_document_record but still didn't see a connection.
(If there is no connection at the line item, is there perhaps a different table or set of tables I can use to get this info? Maybe some financial history table?)
