Thanks Dan.
I subsequently found out from SAP that the BC set for this functionality which was delivered as part of EHP3 was not included in EHP3 in error, and is included in EHP4. This is why I'm not seeing it my system. There is an OSS note that they provide with a zip file which includes screen shots of the customising settings, so I'm going to use those as a reference.
