Hello Vasu,

I would agree with the comments made on SDN. It is hard for us to tell the root cause of your general observation. If you like to deactivate some collections (i.e. customize the collector parameters), please refer to SAP Note 144864. As far as I remember, this Note contains also hints of how to check the collector settings.

However, deactivating statistics is a trade-off always, as you will lose data and hence insight while hoping it positively impacts overall average performance. Please note SAP's recommendations for data collection for supportability purposes. Probably a more detailed analysis of why the average response times observed recently are higher than expected is the way to go as suggested by the colleagues in the SDN thread, e.g. the top contributions etc.?
