Hi Seema

Did you check out what is listed ( with transaction types, document numbers
and posting and value dates) in the Asset Explorer? It could give you a
clue. May be you initiated a complete retirement already which deactivated
the asset and are trying to work on that asset again!. Did you by any
chance perform an asset transfer to a different master record?

Please check the status of the asset in the asset master record to see if it
has been de activated already.
