Reply from jim mcdowall on Jun 30 at 3:59 AM Implementing WM Is a large scale change which requires linking your current IM to WM it means that your warehouse bins would require to be identified and labelled (with barcode) your WM config would allow the set up of multiple bins for each storage location that you have.
Or you could under IM make each bin location a storage location in its own right.
Ie WM would give you 1 SLOC = potential for thousands of bin locations
IM you can have 1 bin - 1 storage location ( you would have potential for thousands of SLOC's ?
It depends on how you want to work and how your finance people want to control cost of inventory holding.
