Hi Aparna,

have you configured for the incoming Idoc's receiving for Stock? inventory with movement type? from customer location
you need to have a customized movement types for this customer stock E (special stock)
you can have a customized program which runs in background /through a job that runs daily so that the stock gets updated in SAP

Customers send us their on hand inventory data information
on a daily basis (idocs). We need to process the idocs and

into account in addition to our company's inventory .

I went through a lot of forum topics and SAP help
documentation and understood that i need to use a
combination of VMI and customer consignment . My main doubt
in customer consignment process in the consignment fillup
step we transfer stock from our location to customer
location - but i need to do the reverse - that is i need to
receive an idoc with stock data from customer and save it in
customer location - can you please give me the steps (config
/ setup steps ) .?
