If you noticed, the select option has a "FOR" statement in it. When you answer the "FOR", it will automatically check on that field for you. Parameters have no "FOR". They can be set up like something else, but that gives them definition, not purpose. That's why SAP is "ignoring" your parameters. In general, parameters allow the user to enter a single value for something that will be used later. - Lou
