To get the first day of the year: concatenate.
To get the last day of the current month: you can do a search for function 'RP_LAST_DAY_OF MONTHS'

Whats the logic behind this? When user executes, the program the select-options must be set to first day of the year and last day of the current month. Which function module should we use?
