Hi Go into OB29 Maintain Fiscal Year Variants. Create a new entry "XX" (whatever you want to call it), click on the "year dependent" button, and enter the number of periods (usually 12) and the number of special periods (usually 4) that this new fiscal year variant will hold. Then click on the Periods line in the left menu. Here you will need to define, per fiscal year, the end day of each month, and what period that equals. The first - and most important decision - to make is what you call the fiscal year, because this will drive your definition in this transaction. Your case - the year starts on October 14 2015 and ends on October 13 2016 - will you call this 2016 (ie the fiscal year is called by the calendar year in which it ENDS), or will you call this 2015 (ie the fiscal year is called by the calendar year I which it STARTS)? You need to know this before you start OB29, because of that little field called "year shift" which is where you tell the system how the fiscal period relates to the calendar year. For example, if your FY is going to be called 2015, then your period 001 definition would be 11 13 001 0. But if your FY is going to be called 2016, then your period 001 definition would be 11 13 001 -1. Nikki | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
