On the surface, if we are only talking about ME28, there would still be issues with selection criteria on search helps. ALL search helps would have to be restricted, which is more work than is being identified here.
The other issue is that even if JP is successful in ME28, what happens when the POs start showing up in reports, both SAP-delivered as well as custom-developed, because the restrictions are not in effect for those areas?
The only sure way to eliminate the POs from showing up is to archive them.
