User is paying for single vendor code only. It has two payment methods (i.e. N-NEFT & R-RTGS) and no payment method in any invoices neither for business area XX10 nor XX20.
Also checked FBZP > Bank Determination > Paying company code > Bank Accounts and found that in last column "Bus. area" nothing is maintained. Neither business area XX10 nor XX20
Now, question comes in my mind that what is the relationship between business area and payment method?

The checked box "Separate payment per business area" does not have anything to do with payment method. It just means that if you are paying a vendor two invoices...one from each business area, they will not be combined into a single payment, they will be paid separately.
Getting back to your issue, are the invoices for BA XX10 the same vendor as those for BA XX20? Confirm that the BA XX20 invoice has no payment method specified on it. Then look at the vendor master record for that BA XX20 invoice and see if any payment methods are present there. Maybe not, and that is your problem? |
