Please check if you created your asset class as a new entry. Usually asset classes are best created by copying.This ensures that for your asset class both sections namely the master data section and the depreciation data section are created ( each section of the class uses a separate screen lay out rule ). It is likely that you created your asset class as a new entry ( from scratch ) and the depreciation data section was not created for your asset class ( may be the master data section only was created ). In such a case, it is likely that the fields for the depreciation data section do not exist and perhaps a related screen lay out rule cannot be created for use. Please check it out. If it be the case, then it would be a nice idea to delete the asset class and recreate the asset class by copying from an existing asset class. This way, I think, you will be able to create a screen lay out rule and save it. Please check and share your findings with us. Regards VidhyaDhar
