without it) for an asset that is already capitalized. Create new asset masters with the
new key and transfer the values.

Subject: Depreciation to the Day
Hello
I had to create a new depreciation key to meet the statutory requirements of India.
This key is " Depreciation to the day" flagged, and is working fine for new assets.
However i need to change all 5000 existing assets in area 30 with this key.
System is giving an error because i'm switching in an existing asset from a period control driven key to a depreciation key which is controlled by days;
has anyone a solution on how to change these existing assets with the new key?
