Subject: Absence Collisions in the SAP Portal
Experts,
An employee intends to take a days leave split between flexi and annual leave. Submits 2 requests with the same start and end times in each each eg 06/07/2011 09:00 to 13:00. Line manager fails to check the times and approves both requests resulting in one request going into error when program attempts to post R3 system. Has anyone configured the portal to validate absence requests to try and catch this type of error and warn user there is a collision before the posting program throws them into error.
The current validation works fine if one of the absences has already been postec to R3 but not if both are submitted and approved within seconds of each other.
Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated. |
