Hi Lukasz,
SQL Server is a self optimising database, it will take time but there is no
way we can tell you how long. Give the new data files the size of 200 GB for
the start. You really want all 8 data files to be the same size.

Hi,
It can take a while before all files are evenly filled - how long? hours ?
days ? months ?
When you add the additional data files the data over time will fill all the
available data files - but i will look like 6 files 300GB and 2 files 50GB ?
