There is Profitability Segment data issue in the FI document. Kindly find the scenario below.
We have FI document generated for material scrapping process, through MB1A
where COGS Ac Dr
Stock Ac Cr.
Now click on COGS account line item & find the Profitability segment in more tab?. We have few fields are getting populated as material, CC, plant, Division, Profit center, Country etc.
Now client requires few more fields to be populated in Profitability Seg area from Customer master, for e.g Sales org, Dist Ch, sales district, cust grp etc.
What should be the approach here as I have very little knowledge on CO-PA.
1) Kindly provide me some insight. If I see the required fields are as characteristics defined (KEA5) and these are active in KEQ3( costing based/Acc based).
2) Apart from this do we need to analyze more in KEDR transaction the derivation rule? Please let me know the logic of this which would enable the field in PS- in FI doc.
3) Is there any Std BADI available for this kind of requirement? If yes kindly provide. If no what should be the approach?
