You can extend the from date of the CE by creating it for the period it is
missing.

If you want to change the validity from date i.e. say from 01/04/2011 to
31.12.9999, then create the same CE in T.code KA01 for the period 01/04/2013
to 31/03/2099 by entering the same CE in both Cost element and Reference
cost elements fields. After this then create the same CE in T.code KA01 for
the period 01/04/2011 to 31/03/2013 by entering the same CE in both Cost
element and Reference cost elements fields.

With regards,

Subject: Cost element 420010 does not exist

Even though I'm surprised, I don't know where this dates from to date came from anyway in the posting periods or when ever generating cost element I keep the dates as 01.04.2011-31.12.9999 but I dont know how this dates were generated.

Please help me in this regards
